1. Gender Assessments

Many organizations struggle to understand the root causes of gender inequality within their systems, programs, and structures limiting their ability to implement effective, inclusive solutions

How we do it:

  • We conduct comprehensive gender assessments to identify gaps, opportunities, and pathways for gender equity within programs, institutions, and policy frameworks. Our assessments inform actionable, context-specific recommendations that foster inclusive development.
  • We use participatory tools, institutional audits, and stakeholder consultations to ensure diverse voices are captured. Our process includes document reviews, gender diagnostics, and reporting tailored to organizational needs.

2. Global Gender Equality & Social Inclusion

Description: Gender aware planning and program design involves paying attention both to content and process. Organizations need to be conscious of “what they do” and “how they plan to do it “when designing country level strategies.

How we do it:

3. Gender Analysis, Program Design & Implementation

Description: Development interventions often overlook how power, identity, and inequality intersect leading to unintended exclusion of women and marginalized groups.

How we do it:

We apply intersectional gender analysis to uncover the systemic barriers that affect different groups. Our tailored methodologies ensure policies, strategies, and investments reflect the lived realities of women, girls, and marginalized communities.  

We apply analytical frameworks and disaggregated data analysis, conduct focus group discussions, and apply power and influence mapping to highlight gender-based constraints and opportunities.

Program Design & Implementation

Description: Program design is integral to any part of any project or program. We have extensive experience in the area, having designed programs across different sectors and countries. We offer a full range of program design services.

How we do it:

  • Drafting concept notes, undertaking scoping studies, undertaking feasibility studies, constructing logical frameworks including identification of objectives, outputs, outcomes and impact of projects

4. Policy Development, Advocacy & Campaign

Description: Outdated or non-inclusive policies continue to perpetuate inequality and limit systemic transformation within institutions and across development sectors. We believe sound policies are rooted in evidence we support organizations with research on program  experience  to inform  policy initiatives  at the local, national , regional and international  level.

How we do it:

  • From national gender policies to sector-specific guidelines, we lead policy reform processes that embed gender equality, social inclusion, and accountability. We work hand-in-hand with governments, multilaterals, and civil society actors.
  • We facilitate inclusive policy dialogues, conduct legal and policy reviews, provide drafting and implementation support, and ensure alignment with regional and global standards such as CEDAW, SDGs, and AU protocols.
  • Through our evidence based advocacy we identify what needs to be done and advice on how to achieve SMART results.
  • We tailor make campaign strategies to achieve the goals of our client’s programs.

5. Gender Strategy Development & Implementation

Many institutions lack coherent, actionable strategies that align with global gender commitments and respond to on-the-ground realities.

 

How we do it:

  • We design and implement gender-responsive strategies for institutions, programs, and multi-country initiatives. Our strategies are practical, results-driven, and aligned to global commitments such as CEDAW, SDGs, and the AU Gender Agenda.
  • We co-create with stakeholders through workshops and needs assessments, establish results frameworks, and provide technical support for rollout, monitoring, and adaptive learning.

6. Training & Capacity Building

Lack of gender knowledge and awareness among staff often hinders effective implementation of inclusive practices within organizations.

How we do it:

  • We deliver engaging, context-sensitive trainings for professionals, community leaders, and government officials. Our capacity building programs strengthen technical knowledge, shift mindsets, and build allies for gender equality. Through customized workshops, training-of-trainers (ToT) sessions, e-learning platforms, and post-training mentoring to reinforce knowledge transfer and behavioral change.
  • We also offer specialized gender clinics for institutions, helping them understand why gender matters and equipping managers and staff with the knowledge and tools to implement inclusive practices across all operations.

Women Economic Empowerment & Institutional Capacity Building

7. Leadership Development for Women & Girls

Despite growing recognition of women’s leadership potential, many women and girls still face systemic barriers to advancing into influential roles .

Mentorship coaching and training programs

– Mentoring Adolescent Girls

Description: Adolescence is a critical period, when girls future potential and opportunities can flourish through education, economic opportunity  and psychosocial support, or that potential can be stunted and stifled by the irreversible effects of child marriage, early pregnancy , HIV and other preventable hardships.

Description: It is critical to monitor and review  the progress of organisations program to see if they are achieving the  aim and objective of the program.  It’s is important to track gender related  changes in organizations work
